At the turn of the century, William Alexander Robertson was one of the wealthiest whisky blenders in Scotland, and the future looked bright. It was due to his many children, why his company fell behind those of his friends and business partners: Walker, Dewar, and Buchanan would soon become the leading names. When the whisky bubble burst, his sons Jim and Nander were struggling hard to keep the company alive.
