Neues von Daftmill

Werbung wegen Markennennung.

"A happy new year everybody. The new year has started here how the last year ended: very busy. With our part in the Winter release now finished thoughts turn to selecting some casks to be bottled as a single cask with possibly a retailer exclusive. We will be taking a stand at the upcoming Fife Whisky festival on the 9th March in the Corn Exchange in Cupar. If you want to come along and try a dram or two I believe there is still tickets available.

Our Winter release should be hitting the shops in the UK next week. The UK batch contains 1625 bottles from casks 081,082,083,084,085/2006. The export batch yielded 1265 bottles from casks 074, 075, 076, 078, 079/2006 all the casks were filled on the 16th Dec 2006.

What better way to cheer up a grey Winters night than a glass of distilled sunshine by the fire side. Last year we installed a new purpose built malt mill in the Kiln. Along with a whole malt bin, several conveyors and elevators and a ground malt bin. It has made the job of milling and mashing a bit easier. Looks like the wheelie bins have had their last trip."
